Life Coach & Spiritual Coach
Artist
Maxima Vega
Being Indonesian and Puerto Rican gives her a diverse background in today’s world. Maxima was raised in Indonesia and came to the United States in 2001 when she was 9 years old. Raised as a Muslim in childhood, she understands how traditional religion and upbringing can impact who we are and who we are meant to be. She discovered her own traditions, spirituality, inner compass, what feels right, and what calls to her. She listened to what spoke to her. That’s all she could do in a world that often misunderstands a free-thinking mind.
Growing up immersed in her Indonesian culture early on and then coming to America was a huge shift at a young age. Dealing with a change in culture created a struggle to truly find her own identity. She came from a culture that is deeply connected, immersed, and woven together as a community to a modern culture where separation is felt in everyday interactions.
Throughout the years, being an observer of a world that was unknown to her, she was reborn and transformed. She found herself again through her own personal trials and tribulations. She decided to walk her path alone, embarking on a journey home to herself. She reconciled who she truly is in essence, beyond stigma, labels, unjust persecutions, societal expectations, and the 3D construct. She reconciled what and who God is to her.
Taking the path alone is not always the easiest path to embark on. Walking her path and facing her struggles was indeed a gift after all. A gift that would last lifetimes. A gift that can aid others on similar paths. The journey within has ignited her inner fire, seldom letting it go out. Her gift was self-empowerment, giving her endless faith, endurance, power, strength, perseverance, and courage beyond her years. With the power that comes from within, you can transform any cards you’ve been dealt into everything you’ve dreamed of. Seek the power within, waiting for you to unleash and fully transform into the most authentic version of yourself. Leave your mark on this world one step at a time. It is not about the destination but the journey itself towards the destination. What makes a great story is not the successful ending, but the how the story unfolds. The story of how we got there, how we did it, is what we truly remember. That’s the tale we share, the story we learn from; that’s the best part of any story.
